First things first, DOOR HANDING refers to the hand (actual human hand) with which the door will be opened. The persons left hand, or the person right hand. The following information will help you avoid a door handing mistake when installing a new door:
1) Door Hinge: the door hinge can be to the right or left of the door frame
2) Door Swing Direction: It can be to the inside or outside.
So these are all the possibilities you might stumble upon:
Left Hinge / In-Swing Door: Left Door Handing
Right Hinge / In-Swing Door: Right Door Handing
Left Hinge / Out-Swing Door: Left Door Handing
Right Hinge / Out-Swing Door: Right Door Handing
